Currently, my laptop is connected to Monitor 1 using an HDMI cable. Monitor 1 is connected to Monitor 2 using a displayport cable and usb-c cable. however, neither one of those options worked. Seems like only Monitor 1 is getting signal. But Monitor 2 doesnt detect any signal at all.
I just got my USB-C 4K installed with my HP ZBook 15 G5 and I am also noticing random disconnects between the laptop and the Dock. I am using the laptop power supply (brick) and the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable. I have one 22" HDMI monitor and one 22" Display port monitor. Have the RJ45 Ether-Net cable connected to a cable modem.
Expected result: When the external monitor connected to the unit via a HP USB-C dongle or HP USB-C Travel Hub G2, Device Manager recognizes the monitor and monitor can display normally after unplugging the dongle and then replugging to the unit.
Since 2 days my external displays no longer work on my USB C dock(s), I have 2 different docks, one at home and one at work and when I connect, the laptop does not recognize any display anymore, everything worked fine until 2 days ago on both docks.
