🐋 Garmin Fenix 3 Hr Battery Drain

Hi Everyone, Greetings. Yesterday, i received a software update v14.31 on my Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. The battery drain after the update has been quite significant. The battery when i went to sleep was around 60% and when i got up in the morning the battery was around 36%. Today morning, i restarted the watch and charged the battery to 100%. Nothing change after 14.72 software installation. Still my Fenix 6 X battery keeps only ~ 72 hours, ~1.3%/h, ~31.27%/day GomJabbar over 3 years ago in reply to PolishSeaman +1 Same behavior for me after updating to 14.72 beta. Went for a 3h15min run this morning and the watch went from 100% battery to 43% ! Battery life is impressive: with GPS, Bluetooth and the screen enabled on during run tracking, I only saw drops of 6-7 percent an hour. That means even if you're actively using the watch non-stop Have exactly the same issue. Battery time is about 30% of what was before the automatic update to 23.00. Never had the issue before, including with the recent versions that 23.00 supposedly fixes. At this point after two hour activity with GPS drains it from 95% of the battery left to ~5% left. The original battery monitor app I was using had me at 0.7%/hour, which is a 6 day battery life (no GPS activities) I did a soft-reset today (the one that keeps your activities and music but clears everything else), and put Battery Gauge on and charged to 100%. Now it's on 68%! In 5 hours! With a run that was 1hour 8minutes long. Using Garmin Express to Update Your Watch's Software | Garmin Customer Support. FREE GROUND SHIPPING ON ORDERS $25 AND UP. At that point, a bit of searching these forums brought to my attention that 24.10 was released around the time I started getting poor battery life and sure enough that was the version i was running. So i did a side by side battery drain test with my Wife's Fenix 5S which was running 22.40 and whilst mine dies after 2 days, the fenix 5S is I have found if WiFi is switched on on my Fenix 6x Sapphire the battery drains from 100% to nil in about 24-36 hours depending on activity. It also freezes regularly. Switch WiFi off and I get 3 weeks and never freezes. Garmin are supposedly looking into it as have said they have not had this before. Z07MZZ3.
